Nelliampathi
Situated in the Western Ghats, Nelliyampathi is locally known as the 'Poor Man's Ooty' as it is similar to Otti (Ootacamund), one of the greatest famous hill ranges in South India. Silent Valley National Park
This is the last unexplored portion of the steamy evergreen forestry in India. Silent Valley is a fabulous nature hub spot positioned in the Nilgiri Hills of Palakkad. This site is part of the Western Ghats, which is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It was turned into a national park in the 1980s as a result of the Save Silent Valley environmental community movement.
