Seetarkundu
This is small waterfalls starting from Neliyampathy is situated just 8 km from Nelliyampathy and it reaches the valley below and forms a tributary of Gayathripuzha. The place is believed that Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita from the epic Ramayana found sanctuary near these falls during Vanavasa. The well-known belief that Sita took a bath here gives the place its name “Seetarkundu”. The waterfall has an enjoyable climate throughout the year except in summers.
Kesavan Para
Kesavan Para is a beautiful location to revive yourself with some scenic beauty just 11 kilometers away from Nelliyampathy. It is a famous location for trekking and is also connected with the picturesque Palakapandy. A cool breeze blows here always. This area gave Nelliyampathy the title 'Poor man's Ooty.'
